This tour will help your discover some of London’s best green and open spaces. You will see Hyde Park, Regents Park and Kensington Palace Gardens, and as an independent traveller you are free to spend as much time as you like exploring. Also take the train the short distance out of London to Kew Gardens and Palace (30 minutes) to London’s largest UNESCO World Heritage site offering unique landscapes, vistas and iconic architecture from every stage of the Gardens’ history. The collection of living plants is the largest and most diverse in the world, growing out in the landscape and within our glasshouses and nurseries.

Itinerary Summary
Day 1
Welcome to London
Transfer from London Heathrow or London Gatwick
Once clear of Immigration and Customs, there’s a transfer from London Heathrow or Gatwick to your chosen hotel in central London.
This evening you are free to take dinner at your leisure and then maybe visit one of the local pubs in the area for a nightcap.
Day 2
Full day London sightseeing tour and River Cruise
Sightseeing tour with river cruise. Hop-on and Hop-off open top bus tour with live guided commentary in English, with digitally recorded commentary in seven other languages. Four tour routes cover over 90 stops showing you the very best of London attractions.
The River Cruise departs from Waterloo Pier (The London Eye) and Westminster Pier (Big Ben & Westminster Abbey). View the sights of London before arriving at Tower Pier where you can visit The Tower of London and Tower Bridge.
Day 3
At leisure, your chance to explore the Gardens of London
Take advantage of the summer weather and enjoy a day outdoors exploring at your own pace some of the great gardens and parks of London. Why not start at Regents Park to the north of the City designed by John Nash, and covers 395 acres and includes Queen Mary’s Gardens which features more than 12,000 roses of 400 varieties, as well as the gloriously restored William Andrews Nesfield’s Avenue Gardens. With excellent sports facilities spanning nearly 100 acres, it includes the largest outdoor sports area in central London. The Park also houses the Open Air Theatre, London Zoo, Primrose Hill, the country’s largest free to access waterfowl collection and 100 species of wild bird.
Then maybe move onto Hyde Park which covers 350 acres and is home to a number of famous landmarks including the Serpentine Lake, Speakers’ Corner and the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain. The Park also offers various recreational activities including open water swimming, boating, cycling, tennis and horse riding, followed by Kensington Gardens.
Every year millions of Londoners and tourists visit Kensington Gardens, one of the capital’s eight Royal Parks. Kensington Palace, the Italian Gardens, Albert Memorial, Peter Pan Statue and the Serpentine Galleries are all located within its 265 acres, planted with formal avenues of magnificent trees and ornamental flower beds.
If you have the energy, take a short train ride from Waterloo Station to Kew Gardens station, with a chance to explore London’s largest UNESCO World Heritage site offering unique landscapes, vistas and iconic architecture from every stage of the Gardens’ history. Travel around London is not included, however a 1 day visitor travelcard, will allow you to travel throughout the day on the London underground, buses and trains within the London area, including your travel to Kew.
