Step back in time, hear the stories, enjoy the songs, relive the memories and see the sights on this unique tour which visits the three British music capitals of London, Liverpool and Manchester.
British music is celebrated the world over. From the ‘British Invasion’ in the swinging ’60s, punk of the ’70s, and the Cool Britannia of the ’90s, the richness and diversity of British popular music inspires fans worldwide. Rock legends such as The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones, The Sex Pistols, and Oasis all originated here, and on this tour you can see where they amongst others began their careers, performed and recorded their music, and understand the social, economic and political factors which influenced their sound.

Itinerary - Sunday arrival in London
Day 1 Sunday
London – Welcome to London
Early evening – Meet and greet service at the Hard Rock Hotel, London.
Optional visit to the Troubadour Club and restaurant, this original 1954 music heritage venue helped launch the career of Bob Dylan and Sammy Davis Jnr or Ronnie Scotts the famous Jazz club since 1959.
Day 2 Monday
London Monsters of Rock – Full day Tour
After breakfast, make your way to St James for 9 am to start your Full day “Monsters of Rock” tour
Morning: history of British rock and it’s foundations, from blues and jazz to skiffle, folk, and into the heart of swingin’ 60s classic rock through 70s punk and the New Wave and New Romantics of the 80s, 90s Brit Pop and today.
Take a walk in your favourites’ footsteps through the narrow, winding streets of Soho. Then to North London including the hip artist and market area of Camden, where clubs and pub venues abound around the street art filled canals. Includes the famous Abbey Road Crossing
Artists on the morning tour include: Beatles, Amy Winehouse, Rolling Stones, Bowie, Elton John, Led Zep, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Boy George, Clash, Sex Pistols, Madness and more.
There will be free time for you to take lunch independantly
Afternoon: Tour sites that made the Sixties swing; where London’s hippie underground ‘counter-culture’ took off; where the 70s punk revolution took place. See the boutiques, pubs, clubs that MADE these decades, inspiring hundreds of well-known lyrics and melodies! Visit the ‘off the beaten track’ areas Chelsea, Kensington, Notting Hill and St John’s Wood. Artists include: Beatles, Stones, Eric Clapton & Cream, Pink Floyd, Marianne Faithfull, The Who, Bob Marley, Led Zep, Clash, Jimi Hendrix, Adele and more.
Evening – Take a meal at London’s original Hard Rock Cafe, Eric Clapton’s favourite, plus free entrance to The Hard Rock Vault, a must-see exhibition of rare memorabilia from the legends of music history.
Day 3 Tuesday
Liverpool and the Beatles Museum
Mid Morning – Enjoy a train journey with Avanti West Coast from London to Liverpool.
Afternoon – Visit to the Liverpool Beatles Museum owned by Roag Best, the brother of original Beatle Pete Best, and packed with unique Beatles memorabilia.
Evening – Optional visit to the Jacaranda Pub, an iconic music venue, frequented by The Beatles before they became famous or to the Philharmonic Dining Rooms, a favourite pub of John Lennon and Stuart Sutcliffe (the original bass player in the band).
Day 4 Wednesday
Liverpool and the Magical Mystery Tour
Breakfast in ‘Blakes’ – A unique Beatles ‘Sgt. Pepper’ inspired restaurant located in the hotel, ask the concierge for a unique tour of the hotels’s Beatles artwork and memorabilia.
Morning – Visit the award winning Beatles Story – the world’s largest permanent exhibition purely devoted to the lives and times of the Beatles.
Afternoon – Take the Magical Mystery Bus Tour; hear the songs, stories and see the former homes, schools and sites associated with the Fab Four.
Evening – Optional dinner in the Cavern Restaurant restaurant followed by a visit to the world famous Cavern Club, the live music venue made famous by The Beatles.
Day 5 Thursday
British Music Experience and Manchester
Morning – Visit The British Music Experience, view the story of British music through costumes, instruments, performance and memorabilia from The Beatles and Bowie to Adele, Oasis and X Factor.
Afternoon – Transfer to Manchester by private car, then free time to explore Manchester.
Evening – Optional visit to the ‘Night and Day Bar’ a famous live music venue in central Manchester.
Day 6 Friday
The Manchester Music Story Tour and Hard Rock Cafe
Morning – Enjoy a 3 hour private guided walking tour discovering how Manchester’s unique sound shaped the world’s music. Hear the stories and see former venues from local bands such as, The Hollies, Herman’s Hermits, The Smiths, Morrissey, Oasis, Joy Division, New Order, Stone Roses and Happy Mondays plus Factory Records and the location of the legendary Hacienda night club.
Afternoon – Enjoy a meal at Manchester’s Hard Rock Cafe.
Evening – Optional to visit ‘Band on the Wall’, a live music venue so named because bands used to play on a stage halfway up the wall to make room in the pub or Matt and Phreds, a laid back basement club hosting live jazz, funk and soul acts.
Day 7 Saturday
Return home or stay a few days to explore England
Morning – Optional transfer to Manchester Airport or take the train to London.
